14 - February 2007 - Coco arrives |

A Special Delivery! Her name is Coco. For years Nicole wanted a little daschund and this Christmas we made her dreams come true. For Nicole it was a dream turned into a reality for the rest of us it was a lot to get use to. A certain reminder that there is a puppy in the house is when you step in that unexpected warm puddle and when you find yourself spending sleepless nights comforting a howling little pup. But it did not take long before Coco ruled the house and had us all under her spell of charm and friendliness. Tuscan is no threat to her and soon she made him understand that her bones are hers and his bones are also hers. If he dares to take her toys then this is a certain excuse to play tug-of-war. She has a passion for shoes and slippers. When you need your slippers on that cold rainy day and then finding them in the garden, was a quick way for Coco to train us how to put our slippers away. Soon our little pup grew up into a beautiful young lady and this meant a visit to the local vet. Having her spayed and leaving her in a strange scary place all day was not her idea of fun. On our return home, we gave her lots of love and wrapped her in a warm red blanket, to brighten up her day. She was a special delivery indeed and we look forward to spending many happy years together. |
