Trojan, our special little boy
Near the end of July 2007, Tuscan was chaperoned off to go and spend the weekend with the girl of his dreams. Things obviously went off very well because a few months later on 7th November 9 puppies were born. One of the puppies named Trojan came to join us here at our Enchanted Garden.
Each of us tried in our own special way to make him feel loved and welcome in his new home:
Coco, our daschund, was delighted with the new arrival. He was her size and very playful; she could bully him, play with him and steal his toys and bones without him noticing.
Crilly, the poodle, is not too sure about the intruder. He sometimes finds Trojan to be a bit of a nuisance and at other times he finds the time to play with him.
Tuscan is very caring towards Trojan, but refuses to share his chair, food or bed with him.
Trojan's goal in life is of course to sit in his father's chair. He never gives up trying and spends time each day to perfect this skill.
When he was 3 months old, we decided that it was time for him to get some training and to socialize with other dogs. He enjoys the classes and is now rapidly growing up into a handsome dog with excellent manners.
Coco is shocked to see that her playmate has outgrown her. She still tries to bully him and steals his things but does not get away with it anymore.
They share a special affection for each other and sometimes she even offers to clean his teeth for him. Presumably this makes Coco the smallest dental oral hygienist in the world.
